This year will begin my fourth year teaching 3rd grade and my 7th year at Laurel Nokomis School.  I'm excited to revisit this  chapter of my teaching career.  It will be interesting to see how much knowledge the students have retained over the summer.

I have had a wonderful summer vacation as I hope all of you have as well.  I have spent time bike riding, waterskiing, watching my daughter grow so quickly, spending time with my family and friends both in Sarasota and a suburb of Chicago, and reading.  I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Cocoa as well as a Coon Hound named Dodge, both of whom I love dearly. 

I look forward to getting to know all of my new students!
