This year will begin my second year teaching 4th grade and my 5th year at Laurel Nokomis School.  I'm excited to continue this new chapter of my teaching career.  It will be interesting to see how much the students have grown since last school year.

I have had a wonderful summer vacation as I hope all of you have as well.  I have spent time bike riding, kayaking, waterskiing, watching the sunsets at Siesta Key, spending time with my family and friends both in Sarasota and a suburb of Chicago, and reading.  I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Cocoa whom I love dearly.  She consumes a lot of my time, but I don't mind a bit! 

I am thrilled to announce that in June I graduated from Nova Southeastern University with a Masters in Reading.  I now feel more prepared than ever to meet your childs' needs. 

I look forward to getting to know all of my new students!
