Supply List:
1" binder
1 pack dividers, minimum 5 dividers in a pack
1 composition notebook (any color)
notebook paper (put in binders)
Black/blue pens
pencils
1 pkg. markers/colored pencils
1 Jurassic Park novel by Michael Crichton (needed by Nov. 1)
The students will start out the school year reviewing the scientific method through numerous lab experiments, beginning science fair projects, reviewing atoms, compounds, chemical reactions, balancing equations and studying the periodic table.
There will be many papers coming home that will have to be signed by a parent or guardian so be on the lookout. Among those will be the team policies and procedures for classroom management. We are looking forward to an exciting new year with the students. 8th grade is a very busy year with all the subjects and activities.
Please check the students agenda. They should be filling it out for ALL classes during the day.
Also please keep checking the website for weekly science homework assignments.

Aug. 19th 5:00 - 7:00 Middle School Orientation
Aug. 23rd Students return to school
Sept. 6th Labor day (no school)
Sept. 7th Science Fair Topic due to teacher
