Monday August 30:
1.  Scientific Method requiz
2.  Hand out science fair folders and discuss
3.  Homework:  Develop a science fair problem to investigate.

Tuesday August 31:
1.  scientific method worksheet
2.  Hurricane tracking map
3.  Begin sea turtle discussion

Wednesday September 1:
1.  Sea Turtle Activity
2.  Sea Turtle Video
3.  Hurricane tracking map

Thursday September 2:
1.  Hand Lab - Report due tomorrow
2.  Be thinking of the science fair topic.

Friday September 3:
1.  Need approved science fair topic - will begin research next week!!
2.  Explain news article - due Tuesday
Students need to find one news article from the paper (or internet news).  It must be current from Friday, Saturday or Sundays paper.  Read the article, cut it out, glue it on a sheet of notebook paper, write a summary (a paragraph).

Monday September 6:
No school

Tuesday September 7 - Friday September 10:
Research Science Fair Topic on computers in classroom and take notes.

Homework for Weekend:  Type up a Bibliography and turn in Monday.
