Spelling: flag, fin, ran, has, fill, sat, list, sit, bag, win, picnic, rabbit, fabric, napkin, plastic, muffin, basket

    Students will bring home user name and password information for the following website: www.eharcourtschool.com. Students will be able to access an online version of their math textbook. They can review math vocabulary and the math skills we are learning in class. Students can click on the learning site from the home page to access math games as well.

Media Center
Our students visit the media center on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They are allowed to check out two books at once. The media center will not let them select a new book until both books are returned.

Book Selection
Our media center books have very informational labels! The colored labels tell us there is reading counts test available for that particular title. The color of the label signifies the level of the book.

Green label = 1.0 – 1.9 (beginning of first to end of first)

Purple label = 2.0 – 2.9 (beginning of second to end of second grade)

Yellow label = 3.0 -3.9

Our students are learning how to select books that are at an appropriate level for continued reading success! Look for the labels on the books that your child brings home and have them tell about how they came to select the book.
