    I am excited to be at Tatum Ridge this year and working with your students.  My husband and I are originally from North Georgia.  My husband's career as a golf pro, brought us to Sarasota.  He works for IMG at the David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Bradenton.  I attended Georgia Southern University and received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Kinesiology.   I earned a Masters of Arts in Elementary Education at the University of Central Florida.  My certifications include K-6, Elementary Education and K-12, Health and Physical Education. This is my eleventh year teaching and my fifth at Tatum Ridge.    

      We will work in class to improve in all academic areas. One of my goals is to strive to provide a comfortable, safe, and inviting environment for your children to learn.  Student success and personal growth is my focus.  With your support I feel this will be a great academic year.   

    Some of my favorite things to do, when I am not teaching, is running, biking, reading, and spending time with my family.  My husband and I are expecting and are so very eexcited!  We also have a beautiful 13 pound miniature pincher, Roxy!
