8:20  Students enter room, put homework folder and backpack away, begin morning work
8:30  Morning announcements, pledge, meeting time
8:40 - 9:00 DOL (daily oral language), DOM (daily oral math), Problem of the day
9:00 - 10:05  Reading block
10:10 - 11:05  Centers 
                        1.  Computers:  Sucessmaker
                        2.  Reading:  small groups with Mrs. Denton
                        3.  Writing:  Ted E. Bear Journals and finish morning work
11:05 - 11:15   Math
11:15 - 11:30   Bathroom and water break, teacher read, quiet read
11:35 - 12:10   Lunch
12:10 - 12:30   Recess
12:40 - 12:50   Bathroom and water break, teacher read, read quietly
12:50 - 1:15     Spelling/S.S/Science
1:15  - 1:40     Math
1:40 - 2:10       Writing
2:10 - 2:20       Pack up, Backpacks
2:20 - 3:15       Specials  (see special's schedule

Tuesdays and Thursdays

*Read for 15 minutes each night.
