In June of 2007, I joined199 other educators from around the country on an exciting journey to the other side of the globe!
As a Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund (JFMF) scholar, I stayed in Japan for three weeks learning about its culture, economy, government, and of course, educational system. This amazing experience was fully funded through the Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund. The program seeks to educate American teachers about Japanese society and culture, as well as foster and develop global relationships. More information can be found at: http://www.iie.org/Website/WPreview.cfm?WID=194.
Please peruse the photographs of my journey and learn more about the fascinating country of Japan. If you would like to add comments, please do so below the pictures.
